BECOME A PART OF OUR FAMILY!
Turban Tying

Sikhs wear Turbans, which are an important part of Sikh culture. A Dastaar (ਦਸਤਾਰ) or Pagá¹›i (ਪਗੜੀ) or Pagg (ਪੱਗ) is an article of faith that represents honour, self-respect, courage, spirituality, equality, commitment, and piety. The Turban is worn by by most Sikh men and some Sikh women. 99% of all people wearing turbans in America are Sikhs. The tuban is a unique part of the Sikh identity.

Speakers & Awareness Events

We aim to organize awareness events with keynote speakers to educate the common folk of who we are, what we believe in, and why it is important. While Sikhs in the South may not be a common sight, we have our role to play, and be sure that it is a vital one. We aspire to leave our mark on society through or contributions. We can speak on the topics of life, family, community, history, language, culture and are more than happy to present to your sangat, speaking on themes specific to your community.

Volunteering & Service

ਸੇਵਾ is a service which is performed without any expectation of result or award for performing it. Such services are performed to benefit other human beings or society. We aim to preserve this practice of selfless service in our very own classic city of Athens!
